Reporting infringing content, and how we act on it.

AddYourNote hosts content created by users. If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act for one) and believe a note infringes your rights, you can ask us to remove it. We respond to valid notices and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the content.

Send your removal request by email to legal@addyournote.com with the subject line “Copyright Removal Request,” or submit it through our Contact & Legal Requests page and choose the copyright category.

To let us act quickly, please include:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• The specific note(s) at issue — a link, signature, and/or the exact text
• Your contact information (name, email, and where relevant, address)
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on their behalf
• Your physical or electronic signature

We review each notice in good faith. If it is valid, we will remove or disable access to the content and, where appropriate, notify the author who posted it. We may request clarification if a notice is incomplete. We may also remove content proactively where it clearly violates our policies.

If your note was removed and you believe that was an error or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to legal@addyournote.com. Please include:

• Identification of the content that was removed and where it appeared
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification
• Your contact information and consent to resolve the matter in the appropriate jurisdiction
• Your physical or electronic signature

Where the law provides for it, we may restore content after a valid counter-notification unless the original complainant pursues legal action.

We may suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly post infringing content, consistent with our Terms of Use.
